The bar is over two floors with the main bar on ground floor and a Martini bar on our first floor.

Wedding? Party? Anniversary? We have two main function rooms that are available for hire (you could reserve the whole building - capacity 80 persons).

The Safari

Safari means journey: ‘Gin’s’ first lesson in Swahili as she boards the Eurostar from St. Pancras.


Add Damson Gin, lemon, sugar, and raspberries to a cocktail shaker. Shake hard with ice and double strain into Coupe glass & top with champagne. Garnish with atomised rhubarb bitters & three blueberries on a stick.

La Vie en Rose

First stop, Paris ‘Gin’ slips out and wanders across the ancient cobbles, to Sacre Coeur with its glittering view of the city in the night. An accordionist starts to play the haunting refrain of ‘La Vie en Rose.’


Take Bath Gin, Escubac, Pamplemousee Liqueur & lemon juice to a cocktail shaker and shake hard. Double strain into a Copa glass filled with ice and top with Rose lemonade. Garnish with Rose petals.

Avant Garden

‘Gin’ visits Les Deux Garcons, the most famous bar of The Cours Mirabeau (a wide boulevard with double rows of Plane trees, at Aix en Provence) was frequented by the avant-garde including Emile Zola, Pablo Picasso, Paul Cezanne and Albert Camus.


Add ingredients and a small amount of ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake hard until fluffy and double train into a Coupe. Finish with a Parsley sprig and a grind of pepper.

The Earl Negroni

‘Gin’ takes a Negroni with an Earlish twist overlooking the Grand Canal at Harry’s Bar (Venice), as she takes her Trabaccolo to Alexandria. 


Mix Bath Gin, Vermouth, Campari, syrup and bitters over ice in a cocktail glass. Stir until balanced and strain over ice into a Rocks glass. Garnish with a dried orange slice.

Trabaccolo

A Trabaccolo us a wooden sailing ship that traded in the Mediterranean plying the Adriatic, and is ‘Gin’s’ sailing barque to the North African coast.


Add all ingredients to a Copa glass and top with Elderflower tonic. Garnish with a sprig of fresh oregano and a slice of fig.

The Pharos

The Pharos (Lighthouse) of Alexandria was one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world which stood at the mouth of the Nie, the beginning of ‘Gin’s’ trip - past the Pyramids and along the Valley of the Kings - up the Nile ending at Lake Victoria Kenya.


Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and give it a long shake with ice. Double strain into a Rocks glass filled with ice and grate nutmeg over the top.

Rafiki

Hakuna Matata. It means “no worries.” ‘Gin and her Rafiki (it means friends in Swahili) take a long refreshing cocktail on the shores of Lake Naivasha where Fever Trees and Hibiscus grow together.


Add all ingredients (except Soda), to a cocktail shaker and give a long hard shake with ice. Strain over ice into a Collins glass. Top with soda. Garnish with a dried orange slice.
